You turn away for a moment

We have a lovely cat - Charlie- he is handsome and charming and we love him dearly. He is a bit out of sorts at the moment as Alan is not home and he does love company. So today when I left my post to make a cup of tea.... It does seem a shame to move him ....

Baby Love

G had to complete an assignment for Italian which invoked baby photos. They ended up on my iPad and are therefore fodder for blogging. She was a very cute baby - my how she has grown

Secret Squirrel

A new quilt for a work colleagues wedding. Really enjoying the red and blue. And today an RDO to finish it off. A lovely day off.

So much and then so little

From being a fiendish blogger in April to almost nothing in May is a sad state but lots happening with a bit of quilting thrown in. My husband A has just recenty got a job in a town 300 ks north of our home in Adelaide - Port Augusta - a great job very interesting with lots of challenges - but not in Adelaide. So lots to do to get him- and us sorted. Yesterday was day one and I think we will begin to settle into a rountine. He will be home every Friday and Port Augusta is near the Flinder Ranges so a grgeous place to camp and play. But for now I am a part time single mum looking for more time... sound familiar

But what has not changed is the inspiration and joy I get from my sew and sews girls, Michelle, Theresa and Kay - this one's for you
